Biography
Aditya Arya is a Senior Lecturer of Pharmacology at Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Malaya. After his doctorate he has attended several research training, workshops and conferences overseas and at the national level before joining as a faculty in 2010. His research mainly focuses on type 2 diabetes to design and develop mechanistic understanding and prediction of drug/natural products on living system. Specifically his expertise is at molecular level in using role of G-protein-coupled receptors in islet function and stimulus-response coupling in mouse and human islet b-cells. And to detect and identify Novel insulin secretagogues.He has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers and has been serving as a reviewer for many reputed ISI Journals including Editorial Board Member.
